Community purpose

GO is for useful local updates tied to real places. Posts should help people understand what is happening nearby.

Posting rules

Post accurate location-based information.
Do not post harassment, threats, spam, scams, or illegal activity.
Do not expose private addresses, private property details, or sensitive personal information.
Mark privacy correctly: Only Me, Friends, Group, or Public.

Ratings and verification

Use thumbs up for helpful or accurate posts.
Use thumbs down for inaccurate, misleading, unsafe, or low-value posts.
Only verify a post if you personally know it is accurate or recently confirmed it.
Public pins can receive comments and photo updates. The highest-liked comments and photos appear first.

Moderation

After 5 or more total votes, a post with 65% or more thumbs down is removed from the live map. Archived or removed posts may still be retained for safety, audit, or timeline history in a real version.

Reputation penalties

Helpful posts and accurate updates raise reputation. Posts removed by community review cost reputation. Obvious harassment, hate content, scams, direct threats, or fake/prank reports are blocked and can push an account into Under Review.
